Photo Proof
Locky can verify you actually completed a habit using AI-powered photo checking. No more lying to yourself.
How it works
Each habit can have a proof description — a short sentence describing what the photo should show. For example:
- Make Bed → "Show your neatly made bed"
- Exercise → "Show yourself at the gym or exercising"
- Read → "Show an open book or reading device"
When you tap a habit to complete it, Locky opens the camera. Take a photo, and the AI analyzes it against the proof description to confirm you did the habit.
What makes a good proof photo?
- Make sure the subject is clearly visible and well-lit
- Match the proof description — if it says "show your made bed," photograph the bed, not just your pillow
- Avoid blurry or very dark photos
- The AI is flexible, but obvious mismatches will be rejected
What if my photo is rejected?
If the AI doesn't think the photo matches, you can retake it. Try getting a clearer shot or a wider angle. The verification is designed to be fair — it's checking that you genuinely did the habit, not looking for a perfect photo.
Can I skip photo proof?
Photo proof is optional per habit. When creating or editing a habit, you can leave the proof description empty to complete the habit with a simple tap instead of a photo. You can mix and match — some habits with proof, others without.
Privacy
Your proof photos are sent to the AI for verification and are not stored long-term or shared with anyone. They're used solely to confirm habit completion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
